8/22 - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES!!! Being alone on the road is hard enough, it's even harder when it's your birthday. ALL OF YOU made it much, much, easier!!! Toledo in 2 weeks!

8/3 - Only a couple of more days in Pennsylvania, and then I'll be in Ohio by the weekend. Also less than 300 miles to go before I reach 7,000 miles on all 5 walks combined!

7/29 - 18 miles today, then 17 on Friday which brings me into Erie, PA
area.Getting near 500 miles!

7/17 - Jim is now in Buffalo, NY. Jim is planning to arrive in Erie PA. by next week! Then it's on to Ohio about a little more than a week after that. Thanks to all you guys who keep me going!!! It means the world to me!!

7/14 - I'll be in the Buffalo area for a couple of more days. THANKS to everyone for the incredibly kind words and encouragement!!! It's funny, I've walked 400 miles on this try , I'm only 10 miles from Canada (I've been watching CBC ), less than 200 miles from Ohio, and I'm still in New York!

6/11 - J'Lon is a 10 year old boy who is now in a wheelchair because brain cancer.My next leg from here to Rochester is for him.He is from Geneva N.Y. and to see more about him you can go to yesterday's Finger Lakes Times.

5/6 - My walk from Laceyville to Towanda is dedicated to Kara Cook a 4 year old beautiful little girl battling lukemia. There will be a fundraiser on May 14th at The Trail Inn across from the Wyoming county fair grounds. If you can not attend but would like to help call The Trail Inn.
