I started growing my hair in October, 2006 so I can donate to them as well. I will be getting my hair cut twice along the way in the hopes that others will do the same.

- On May 30th which was my Parent's anniversary I received a call from The National Marrow Donor Program and H.L.A registry. In early 1994 there was a little boy in my hometown with Leaukemia and he needed a bone marrow match. Volunteers were needed to see if they matched him so I gave a blood sample to see if I could help.I wasn't a match for him but 15 years later I'm a
potential match for a 49 year old man with non hodgkins lymphoma.I will be getting another blood test in Jacksonville FL.to confirm that and then arrange to donate my marrow to him at a Hospital along the way.If anyone wants to be able to possibly save a life directly go to www.bethematch.com and find how you can help in your local area. 75% of people in need of marrow do not have a family match so volunteers are very much needed.
